Tiny Toon Adventures: Babs’ Big Break is the first Tiny Toon Adventures game released for the Nintendo Game Boy. It was released in 1992 and developed and published by Konami.
General Information
The player takes control of Buster Bunny, Plucky Duck, or Hamton J. Pig. Each of the three playable characters has their own unique weapon. Buster throws carrots that travel in an arc, Plucky hurls pineapples that can bounce off the environment, and Hamton throws watermelons that roll along the ground. In addition, the player can collect various power-ups. Small hearts restore one heart, while large hearts increase the life meter by one heart for the remainder of the level.
There are four levels, each featuring support from a special helper such as Dizzy Devil, Furrball, Fifi La Fume, or Shirley the Loon. If the player has collected 500 or more gems upon reaching the battle against Montana Max, he offers to sell the theater to the player. However, this only results in an alternative dialogue sequence.
Trivia
The Japanese version of the game differs slightly, as it features a password system and unlimited continues. The American version, on the other hand, does not include a password system and allows the player only two continues.
